Criss-cross
THE ICEBERG was mainly inspired by the amazing location. The architects decided to break up the building into several parts and levels in order to create optimal ocean views for as many apartments as possible.
Therefore, the building was split up in a criss-cross manner – inspired by floating icebergs constantly breaking away.
Like real icebergs
In order to prioritise views and natural light even further, the architects developed sloping roof tops providing stunning views in several directions.
The roofs rise and fall in peaks and canyons and are visually displaced from each other just like the motions of real icebergs.
Creating a logical harmony with the heaven-aspiring triangular spires, the facade was split into loosely combined triangles that lend the facade a dynamic feel. This provides a harmonious connection between the complex as a whole and its details. The large, white triangles and the flickering surface gave rise to the name of the complex:
THE ICEBERG.
Generous views for everybody

THE ICEBERG breaks with traditional architecture typically involving a "wall" of homes.

The differentiated housing complex also takes into consideration those homes located at the back by creating peaks and canyons that ensure optimal light conditions and ocean views from as many apartments as possible.

THE ICEBERG is almost “transparent” – opening up towards its surroundings and inviting people to enter.
